Big Band - Friday 20th June 2008
Nonsuch Rotary Club & Friends of Nonsuch present
Following the very successful move to a Big Band Night in 2007 this year’s concert will be better still. Nonsuch Rotary are organising the event on our behalf which is being sponsored by Dean Kirby’s Creative Flooring and The IT Partnership.
A “permanent license” has been obtained allowing us to increase attendance levels and we hope that at least 1,000 will enjoy the Big Band in the Park this year. A newer bigger stage is also being erected to make it easier to see the band.
The Dave Marrion Big Band will again be playing the music of Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey and other favourites from the Big Band era but this year they will be supported by the Epsom Downs Primary School Steel Band who will be playing upon arrival.
The gates to the Mansion House gardens will open from 6.15 p.m. for a 7.15 p.m. start to the main concert and patrons are welcome to bring their own picnics and drinks. Please note that no seating is provided but you are welcome to bring your own.

Please note that if any tickets are still available on the night the price will be £15 on the gate.

In addition to raising much needed funds for The Friends of Nonsuch work in Nonsuch Park, profits will also be supporting the Macmillan Butterfly Centre at Epsom Hospital and other Rotary charities.
